Beautifully crafted from natural spruce timber and featuring a powerful 8 kW Harvia electric heater, the Pennine brings together traditional Finnish sauna bathing, timeless Scandinavian-inspired design and contemporary outdoor luxury.
With its distinctive curved silhouette, spacious six-person interior and inviting natural wood finish, this elegant barrel sauna creates a welcoming space to relax, unwind and share moments of tranquillity with family and friends.
Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience
At the heart of the Pennine is a premium 8 kW Harvia electric sauna heater, designed to provide the high-temperature warmth associated with traditional Finnish sauna bathing.
With a supplier-stated operating temperature of approximately 90°C–100°C, the Pennine offers an immersive sauna experience.
Enjoy traditional dry sauna heat or carefully pour water over suitable heated sauna stones, in accordance with the heater manufacturer's instructions, to create bursts of steam and a more humid atmosphere.
Its spacious interior and warm timber surroundings provide an inviting setting for enjoying a traditional sauna ritual in the privacy of your own garden.
Beautifully Crafted Spruce Timber
The Pennine showcases the natural beauty of spruce timber, creating a warm, authentic appearance both inside and outside the sauna.
Its distinctive barrel-shaped structure adds architectural character to outdoor spaces, while protective roof tiling helps shield the timber cabin from the elements.
The natural wood grain, carefully assembled curved structure and traditional detailing create a timeless design that complements contemporary gardens, countryside retreats and dedicated outdoor wellness areas.
Spacious Comfort for Six
Thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to six people, the Pennine provides a welcoming environment for shared sauna sessions.
Comfortable interior timber benches offer space to relax, while additional entrance seating provides a practical finishing touch to the traditional barrel design.
A distinctive half-moon rear window introduces natural light, creating a sense of openness within the warm timber surroundings.
Whether enjoyed alone or with others, the Pennine combines generous proportions with the intimate atmosphere of traditional sauna bathing.
Atmospheric Lighting & Traditional Details
Create a calming environment with integrated LED backrest lighting, complemented by a traditional sauna light and shade.
The soft illumination enhances the natural timber interior and creates an inviting atmosphere for evening relaxation.
The Pennine also includes a selection of traditional sauna accessories:
-
Sauna bucket and ladle
-
Hourglass timer
-
Thermometer
-
Hygrometer
These practical finishing touches complement the traditional Finnish sauna experience.
Designed for Outdoor Living
The Pennine is designed for installation in suitably prepared outdoor spaces, making it an attractive centrepiece for a garden, patio or private wellness retreat.
Its substantial spruce timber construction and protective roof finish are intended for outdoor use when correctly installed and maintained.
A solid, level foundation, adequate drainage and a dedicated electrical supply are essential for safe installation and operation.
The sauna requires a hard-wired electrical connection completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
Optional Treatex Exterior Oil Finishes
For customers who wish to personalise their sauna, a selection of premium Treatex Exterior Oil finishes is available separately.
These optional treatments can enhance the natural appearance of the spruce timber while helping protect the exterior against weathering when applied and maintained according to the product instructions.
Choose from a range of attractive wood tones to complement your garden design and create a finish that reflects your personal style.
Please note: Exterior wood treatment is optional and is not included unless selected with your order.
Simple Care & Long-Term Maintenance
With appropriate ongoing care, the Pennine can remain an inviting feature of your outdoor wellness space.
Regularly clean the interior using manufacturer-approved methods, allow adequate ventilation after use and inspect the timber and roof periodically.
Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for exterior wood maintenance and suitable protective treatments.
