Water Care & Maintenance

Maintaining suitable water quality is essential for cleanliness, comfort and the continued operation of your Peak Plunge Ice Bath.

Regular Water Testing

Test the water regularly using appropriate water-testing strips or a suitable testing kit.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions to monitor pH and sanitiser levels.

Recommended pH Balance

The supplied water-care guidance recommends a pH range of 7.2–7.6.

Maintaining the correct pH helps support effective water treatment and suitable bathing conditions.

Water Treatment

According to the supplied water-care guidance, recommended sanitiser levels are:

• Chlorine: 1–3 parts per million (ppm)
• Alternatively, Bromine: 2–4 parts per million (ppm)

Use only water-treatment products approved for the ice bath and integrated chiller.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for chemical selection, dosing and safe handling. Never mix treatment chemicals.

Water Replacement

Indicative water replacement intervals are:

• Regular Use: Approximately every 4–6 weeks
• Light Use: Approximately every 6–8 weeks

More frequent water replacement may be necessary depending on usage, water quality and maintenance.

Cleaning & General Maintenance

• Regularly inspect and clean the filtration system according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Wipe the stainless steel interior using suitable, non-abrasive cleaning products.
• Keep the water free from visible debris and contamination.
• Maintain sufficient ventilation around the integrated chiller.
• Inspect the drainage system periodically.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for servicing and ongoing maintenance.

What's Not Included

Water-testing strips, pH-balancing products, chlorine, bromine and other sanitising chemicals are not supplied with the ice bath.

Warranty Information

1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

The Peak Plunge 1–2 Person Ice Bath with Integrated Chiller includes a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, subject to the manufacturer's applicable terms and conditions.

The warranty provides reassurance regarding qualifying manufacturing defects and product-related issues covered by the manufacturer.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you experience a problem with your ice bath, please contact Spa Supreme with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photographs or videos where appropriate

Our team will liaise with SaunaPlunge to investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Important Information

To help maintain your product, always follow the manufacturer's installation, operating, cleaning and water-treatment instructions.

The manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights under UK law, which remain unaffected.

Preparation Requirements

Proper preparation is essential to ensure your Peak Plunge Ice Bath can be delivered, installed and operated safely.

Suitable Indoor or Outdoor Location

Choose a stable, level and well-drained location with sufficient room for the ice bath, safe access and future maintenance.

Suitable foundations may include:

• A properly prepared concrete base
• Level, structurally suitable paving
• Appropriately reinforced decking

The foundation must safely support the full operating weight of the ice bath, including its approximately 240 kg empty weight, water capacity of up to 900 litres and occupants.

Avoid unstable ground, uneven surfaces and areas where water may collect beneath the unit.

Electrical Requirements

The integrated chiller requires a suitable dedicated 13A UK electrical supply.

Before installation:

• Ensure an appropriate electrical socket is available within safe reach of the chiller.
• For outdoor installations, the socket must be suitably weatherproof and RCD-protected.
• Do not use extension leads or multi-plug adaptors.
• Follow the manufacturer's electrical safety and installation instructions.
• Have a qualified electrician confirm that the electrical supply meets the required safety standards.

Any necessary electrical alterations must be completed before installation.

Access Requirements

The Peak Plunge is delivered as a large, assembled unit weighing approximately 240 kg when empty.

Please ensure:

• Garden gates, entrances and pathways provide suitable access.
• Steps, slopes and restricted corners have been considered.
• The delivery route is clear of obstructions.
• There is adequate space for positioning and future servicing.
• Suitable specialist handling arrangements are available where necessary.

Do not attempt to lift or move the unit manually without appropriate equipment and personnel.

Water Supply & Drainage

A suitable water supply must be available for filling the ice bath.

Ensure the drainage outlet can be used safely and that wastewater can be discharged appropriately without causing flooding or water accumulation around the installation area.

Ventilation & Weather Protection

Allow adequate space around the integrated chiller for airflow and servicing.

For outdoor installations, choose a suitable location with appropriate drainage and protection in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements.

Do not obstruct ventilation openings.

Before Delivery

Please ensure that:

• The foundation is complete, stable and level.
• The electrical supply has been checked.
• Safe delivery and handling access is available.
• Water supply and drainage arrangements are ready.
• Adequate ventilation and maintenance space are provided.
• Any special access or installation requirements have been communicated to Spa Supreme.

Foundation preparation, electrical installation, plumbing alterations, groundwork and specialist lifting equipment are not included in the standard installation service unless expressly agreed.

Please contact Spa Supreme before ordering if you are unsure about your installation arrangements.
