Our team will liaise with SaunaPlunge to investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Always follow the manufacturer's assembly, electrical installation, operating and maintenance instructions.

The manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights under UK law, which remain unaffected.

Preparing for Your Pennine Barrel Sauna

To ensure a smooth delivery and installation, please prepare your chosen outdoor space before your sauna arrives.

Suitable Base

Your sauna must be positioned on a solid, stable and level surface capable of supporting its weight and occupants.

Suitable bases may include:

• Concrete foundations or a suitable concrete patio
• Level paving slabs
• Structurally adequate decking designed to support the sauna

The base should provide effective drainage and must not allow water to collect beneath the structure.

Space & Positioning

The assembled sauna measures approximately 1800 × 1800 × 1930 mm.

Allow sufficient additional space for the door to open, safe access, maintenance and ventilation around the exterior.

Avoid positioning the sauna in areas prone to flooding, standing water or inadequate drainage.

Electrical Requirements

The Pennine Barrel uses a 6kW Harvia electric heater and requires a suitable dedicated electrical supply.

• The heater is hard-wired rather than plugged into an ordinary household socket.
• A qualified electrician must assess the property's electrical supply and carry out the required connection.
• Cable specification, circuit protection and isolation requirements must follow the heater manufacturer's instructions and applicable UK electrical regulations.
• Any necessary electrical preparations should be arranged before installation.

Delivery Access

Please check that the delivery and installation teams can access the chosen location safely.

Consider gates, pathways, narrow passages, steps, corners and any obstacles that could restrict the movement of large or heavy components.

If access is restricted, please contact us before ordering so the delivery arrangements can be reviewed.

Before Installation

Please ensure your base is fully prepared, the installation area is clear and any necessary electrical arrangements have been made.

These preparations help prevent delays and allow the installation team to complete the work safely and efficiently.

Free Mainland UK Delivery

The Pennine Barrel Sauna is available with free standard delivery to mainland UK addresses.

Delivery to remote locations, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, may incur additional charges or require special arrangements.

The sauna requires a dedicated hard-wired electrical supply.

Any electrical work must be undertaken by a suitably qualified electrician. Please confirm the scope of electrical connection work with the installation provider before ordering, as preparing or modifying the property's electrical supply may require separate arrangements.

Optional Exterior Wood Treatment

For additional weather protection and a personalised appearance, premium Treatex Exterior Wood Treatment is available in a range of natural and contemporary colours.

An optional professional installation package with first-coat application is also available for £990, with the required exterior treatment purchased separately.

If you prefer to assemble the sauna yourself, installation instructions are provided.

The sauna must be constructed in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance, and the electrical heater must be connected by a qualified electrician.
